Mission

Sikkim Government Sanskrit College, Samdong,Gangtok Sikkim is committed to provide quality education and this institution isthe first institution of higher Education of Sanskrit studies in the state of Sikkim.

It was established with a view to focus on the holistic development of the students and also to equip them with all the necessary knowledge and values required to meet various challenges in their future. This college was established with a view to cater to the needs of students who were compelled to go outside the state after completing their school education in Sanskrit from various schools of Sanskrit across the state.

This Institution is working towards conducting various skill oriented professional courses to the young generation so as to contribute pro-actively to the socio-economic development of their families, communities, state and nation as a whole.

The Institution shall strive to:
